The main ground floor, super selection of art materials and books
Travelled by train which proved easier arriving than returning. The Mill is adjacent to the tiny station at Saltaire. My interest in art and the work of David Hockney makes visiting an absolute joy. It is a place to spend a day just perusing the wide range of items for sale, to see David’s work, including video walls and to take advantage of the in-house food provision. Before catching the return train to Leeds I walked down to the park crossing the canal and river. A Wonderful day. These are sketches made using my 5.6mm Koh-I-Noor pencil with watercolour wash. The pencil was bought from one of the Mill shops. |
