Loaningdale trees in early summer.

First time out for a while to actually paint....with a canvas and oils. This is a go-to subject for me, a typically unseen' view which I am trying to record as the seasons pass. I had already painted the trees in winter and here they are in early summer, quite a dramatic change. This is a professional grade 3 x 2 feet canvas and took me about 5 hours to complete. All painting was done en plein air, that is, at the site in the open air. I am still experimenting with using a limited palette of just the three primaries plus titanium white.
