Another one of my old pen and ink prints from the archives. I used to get Bob at Molescroft Press to reproduce these to which I would then add a watercolour wash. I still have quite a lot of these prints and will be posting more later. This shows Wednesday Market with cars parked and people walking down Highgate towards the Minster. The buildings facing from the left are Final Touch I think and of course Judy's old cafe on the corner..think it was called Highgate Corner Cafe. This is a view before it was remodeled to be pedestrianised I think. Looking closely I can see a flag over the Minster which is interesting as now I think they are flown from one of the two towers. ( Are flags flown?) Hope you like it.
