It is not often that you can see the church from here. I walked George and spotted the view after delivering some items. Here is an iPad sketch ( video of it being created here ), simplified in part but essentially captures the scene I think. The very tall spire of St. Mary's can be seen for miles around these flat lands. I think it was last year that I watched steeplejacks ( literally !! ) repairing the fabric. They looked like ants on a twig. With it being a Monday, refreshments locally were not to be enjoyed unfortunately, so it was back home for a coffee.
