The temperature was 12 degrees as I walked George along the quiet footpath road passing Glebe Farm. A slight precipitation was reflected by a mounted cross country horse rider who looked rather like a luminous beacon. The beautiful grey was haltered in a way which kept it's head down, powerful looking the horse began to canter proudly alongside a field hedge. Two elderly walkers parked nearby and set off, the woman wearing a red jacket looking prominent as they disappeared. Just beyond the houses , across some fields lies Lund. I made a mental note to paint the scene from a particular place which would show the village outline including significant buildings.
