We traveled to Thixendale in mid November with friends from the flatlands. It was a little tour showing them the autumn colours, more specifically, the hills and valleys of the Yorkshire Wolds. We stopped here at the footpath to Thixendale. Two of us sketched whilst two went for a walk. Unfortunately we all had to curtail our endeavours as the rain persisted in an increasingly heavy drizzle.
