Conkers.. all around, jewelling the broad walkway, an ipad sketch.

 Walking up New Walk in Beverley I saw lots of horse chestnuts and collected some. At home, I used my ipad to sketch one and here it is. The colour of a fresh horse chestnut is amazing, deep luscious shades of brown going almost into black, and at the same time reflecting light off a newly exposed skin. Sallying forth along the New Walk promenade, I sadly had to leave but took some horse chestnuts home to deter spiders...maybe.
