Mothering Sunday when we celebrate past and present mothers, with love and affection.
Here is a sketch of some cottages, one of which I believe, is where Thelma, used to live. Though I am not completely certain. Lockington is a small village in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a caring place with ancient roots and is a starting point for many countryside walks.
This is a simple sketchbook exercise, using basic watercolours. I have included some stages below
