Can’t resist the unassuming, unpretentious, modest stack of bales. This is smaller than usual for me. I have a few paintings of larger stacks. The mechanisation associated with collecting, building stacks and storing in sheds is rather fascinating. Lots of factors are involved. S, this is for my farmer friends, Hestons 1.2 square x 2.4 long.
