Well I actually missed the harvest and subsequent bailing of the straw due to a slight illness preventing me from getting there in time. The harvest was on August 3, and I was told about the black grass problem. The bales will be used for pig bedding, so the black crash isn’t an issue. This is part of the sketch which is going to be hopefully, an animation showing the area from January to December. Very hot day although slightly cooler here than in BEVERLEY.
