The end of the very hot weather is nigh. Here, the cattle are resting in the open as it is slightly cooler. Hopefully the grass may grow back a little when the rains come. This is another of my quick Sharpie sketches, directly onto the canvas board. Colours added using acrylic paints. Some minor entail to add around windows. I like this simple view with my old friend, ‘Mimi’s’ house central in the scene.

Cattle in Hall Garth, Beverley.
