Givendale is a magical area. The perfectly situated church of St Ethelburga’s sits happily in the landscape ( hidden to the left of this view). A public footpath runs behind the pond and into an open area, where a building surprises the walker. This area is wonderfully accessible yet at the same time remote. It is a lovely place to explore.
