LANDSCAPE PAINTING - Gypsey Race chalk stream reaches West Lutton.

I enjoyed my visit to West Lutton where I met lots of interesting people. Fellow artists in particular were a joy to chat to. I returned to finish the sketch on a day when a plant sale was being held next to the Church. I stopped off at the church to enjoy their modest, yet tasty refreshments. I noticed the stream was running low. It was very clear yet I only saw water shrimps in it. The minnows and sticklebacks I had seen earlier at Kirkby Grindalythe seemed absent.
