Front Street, near Holly Farm and the road to Kilnwick with slight flood.

Here a a couple of sketchbook images showing the view along Front Street. One is from the north end looking south and the lower one shows the overflow from Bryan Mills Beck. The Beck is usually low and even dries up at times, the heavy recent rain, running off the fields has caused it to overflow. At nearby Holly farm, sandbags rest against the front door. In normal times when the flow is gentle I have seen cattle egrets standing in the stream, fishing.
