Thixendale progress.

Hi everyone, thought for a change I would keep you updated with the painting progress. Here is the basic layout blocked in ( using earlier painting for ref). I am sticking to using just the three primary colours plus white. I intend to leave it for a couple of days now to let it dry and to perhaps study it for adjustments. The colours need to be refined and details adding especially the combine and wagon in the field below. Also I will add the horses which reside in Long Dale. I will be tempted to also add a red kite. The sky will dominate the painting and I intend to make some sky studies to refer to. Well that is all for now….
