Cattle on the Westwood, Beverley

This is the third watercolour study showing the Minster from the Westwood in Beverley. Feel like there may be one more but perhaps looking towards Black Mill with cattle feeding. This again is a large 22 x 15 inch watercolour, one of my favourite sizes. It captures a moment in time with thistles evident in the foreground. Their absence beyond reflects the recent activity by the Neatherd, Z, who methodically traveled up and down in her green tractor towing a wide grass cutter. The presence of 'thunder' flies, tiny black insects was a distraction especially as they were out in great numbers, some getting onto the eyelids.
