Near South Dalton Pond where a croc hides.

12x10 inch , oil on canvas.
Just before the bend leading to the pond at Dalton ( South Dalton ) the trees frame a brightly lit bank. It is always a lovely view but when I saw it today after walking George I thought I should try a painting. There was the added bonus of a clump of tall yellow flowers, a little like a yellow chrysanthemum not buttercups but very impressive. I will check my Keble Martin and get back to this post. But in the meantime here is the painting. Cow parsley is now being joined by more umbals and many more plants such as campion and vetches. Along this road when walking G I saw some purple mauve...comfrey standing tall. People need to be cautious when passing the pond as the resident crocodile is easily spooked.
