Standing at Beverley Minster, I am looking south, across a large field of glorious wild flowers. Usually, David would have stock in the field but I gather things have changed, so we can see it as it is here. Drifts of cow parsley dominate with tall grasses all mixing with colonies of buttercup. Beyond, houses look over the field towards the Minster. They have a spectacular view of this magnificent building. I am standing in the shade of a churchyard tree. It is lovely and cool. George is reclining on the freshly cut grass, which sticks to his long coat when he gets up. Nearby, part of the church grounds here are allocated as a wilding garden and already, it is looking interesting, it augments well for the future. I finished and returned to the car, being reminded of Victoria, when filming was being carried out here not too long ago.....
