South Dalton, St. Mary's Church....near crocodile pond!

Approaching South Dalton on the road which passes the pond I saw this view. So, I stopped and did this quick sketch which will, I hope, be included in my book which will predominately feature the Yorkshire Wolds. It will show original oil on canvas paintings as well as sketchbook images. I will also include narratives for most paintings which describe the day as I painted ( painted outside at the venue). A huge shock was to see a crocodile on the pond as I passed after completing the sketch. If you are passing have a look, I think it has taken up residence.
