This is an iPad sketch of Garth Ends Lane, Bishop Burton. Approaching Bishop Burton from Walkington along the quiet Mill Lane, there is a 'T' junction near Grove House. Looking west the road drops slightly and a building can be seen, perhaps a sawmill or workshop, I will need to revisit and check. This area is on the edge of the southern Yorkshire Wolds and the land rolls with huge fields. I stopped and walked George along the lane and was pleased to see a barn owl quartering an adjacent field.
