Drove out towards Etton and ended up parked outside the Pipe and Glass. Saw this view which shows the road back into the village, so sat in the car and sketched it. Across the road I could see the 'Zebra crossing" Galloways, beautiful black and white cattle. I sorta like these ad-hoc drawings on the iPad and had a thought that perhaps next year's calendar could feature these iPad sketches....hmmmm...what do you think. They are fun to do and have a certain quality different from an oil painting. Of course, with winter and short days approaching perhaps using the iPad makes more sense anyway.
Have lots of projects in mind for winter, portraits, more landscapes, A BIGGER PICTURE, maybe some still life etc. plus demonstrating and workshops.
