Beverley Grammar School, students returning after cross country.

Experimenting with plein air watercolour painting some time ago led me to using large half imperial sheets, approx. 15 x 22 inches. This scene was done from the Golf Club car park. It was lovely to see the boys, some of my ex students trudging back to BGS which is indicated on the right. The inclusion of the all seeing sanctuary of Beverley Minster seems appropriate as the Grammar School dates back to AD700 with a shared history.
