Two Leases....in Beverley

Today I woke up to see snow falling and wondered if it would settle. However, walking George it actually stopped and the sun shone brightly. Yet it was still very cold and walking George made me realise the slushy pathways were quite treacherous so, after delivering calendars to Leconfield, I parked up and decided to sketch a familiar road. I have walked down the Leases many times. In the autumn the long line of trees take on glorious fall colours of yellow and orange. Having parked, I moved to the passenger seat and started to sketch in my Fabriano sketchbook ( 30 leaves, 200gsm, 14.8x21 cm so, I guess A5). I used an ordinary biro type pen and started with the car, being aware of avoiding the centre crease, so as to minimise any colouring in issues.
