Another older sketchbook painting.
There is a lovely terraced path from Seatoller to Grange and after an initial steepish walk this view can be seen looking back. The farm is Thorneythwaite Farm. The large grey fell is Great End, a wonderful place to stop, looking down on Sprinkling Tarn and having your packed lunch. As you sit, with the mass of rock behind you hear sounds and look up. Over the top dark edge of Great End silhouette shapes of ravens tumbling and having fun play on the updraft.
