Beverley from near Burton Bushes.

Ha, this is an old watercolour sketch, one of the first using a lightweight easel which was a present from D'reen. What a difference it makes to use an easel. I would just stand and sketch in the past which was okay but now I realise,  rather limiting. I like the looseness of this sketch. You may just...make out St. Mary's, the Minster and Black Mill. This is the view from the south side of Burton Bushes, which are unseen, on my left. The pale summered grasses make a lovely contrast to the green golf fairways.
