Though I have done this view previously, as I was passing and had seen the demolition work progressing in the courtyard I thought a quick pen and ink sketch might be interesting to do again. The field in foreground has been planted with some crop which is already breaking through in
serried , drilled, ranks giving us a welcome hint of spring to come. The fresh light green stems also are a contrast to the dark browns of the enclosing hedges and peripheral trees.
