Sledmere House, walled garden.

On the same day as the previous post we found we had a little more time. We had taken George for a long walk around the grounds and he was safe back in the car. As one enters the walled garden, to the right of the main path is this bed. It is simply planted and exudes luxuriant foliage. The effect is a gradual cascade of colour. We met some lovely people, another artist and her husband came over for a chat which was lovely. The day was warm and sunny with people strolling around enjoying the garden.
