Black Mill plein air watercolour sketch 22x15 inch

Just taken George for a quick walk and noticed the huge sky over Black Mill. As I had some paper in the car I sketched the scene mainly to get an impression of the clouds. The trees to the left of the mill were lit in sunlight contrasting to the distant Burton Bushes which looked almost black as they were in shadow. Might work it up a little more but it is an impression of the moment.
