Video here I have been wanting to paint this view for some time but have been frustrated by high winds and rain. Today was still and thus, the water was good for reflections. The Minster needs a tiny bit of work and the pools of water in the foreground left. It was a pleasure to have a chat with a woman who lives in a nearby farm. She was taking her dog for a walk and she mentioned that the water was unusual - the first time she had seen water here for over thirty years. Trails of vapour from passing planes added an interesting feature. Will hopefully return and try again. It is a lovely view of an emerging Beverley Minster.
