Willow Lane - a view of the cleared area.

Thought I might try and capture an impression of the clearance adjacent to Willow Lane. Still sad to see, but I guess it was too good to last. Here, we can see  pools of water on the site. The weather has been very wet generally, even so, the standing water is dramatic. If houses are built here they will be subject to the mist which hangs over the area from time to time indicating the presence of moisture. The water table here is only just below the surface.This is a view which at first glance, may not appear worthy to paint. However, I like to try the less obvious and sometimes it works. In any case it is good practise.
