Alan was a good friend and colleague.
Dedicated and hard working, Alan has helped so many people in the past and will be remembered with lots of love. I loved his sense of humour and will treasure my good fortune in being able to say I knew him well. He would have liked this picture of his beloved St. Mary's, rising out of the town from the Westwood.
