It had stopped raining and so I popped out with my pochade box and tripod. I am still learning how to use this method of painting and I started here by applying an undercoat of sepia / umber. I limit myself to just 6 colours which can be challenging as I sometimes struggle to mix the correct colour. This sketch has not been refined, it is as done in situ and took about an hour.
