I did this painting some time ago. I walked around the circle trying to get a view to paint. I settled for this and raced to get it done before the rain came. I was busily working and suddenly became aware of lots of voices, a coach full of Japanese tourists were excitingly taken photos and looking at the fells. Then the rain came.

Castlerigg Stone Circle
I did this painting some time ago. I walked around the circle trying to get a view to paint. I settled for this and raced to get it done before the rain came.
