Hello everyone can I wish you all a very happy and peaceful new year.
Today was clear although the wind and cold were challenging - I had to weigh down the easel as it was wobbling in the strong wind. There has been a lot of rain here recently and water was standing in the fields.Evidence of mole activity could be seen here and there. I loved the sounds of passing trains and it was also good to see lots of cyclists and walkers using Long Lane. Over to my left looking across fields I could see horse riders seemingly floating over the fields - though in fact walking on an invisible Shepherd Lane.
