Westwood view of autumn in Beverley, original watercolour.
I have painted this view to try and capture the recently exposed pale trunks of the silver birch trees on the left. Of course, I also want you to indicate the changing colours this time of year. BEVERLEY Minster stands proud above the town which is largely hidden from this view. Also Saint Nicholas Church can be seen just to the left of the Minster its dark tower just appearing over the trees. I have not seen any cattle recently, so I’m assuming they’ve been taken off the Westwood. Hidden in this view are two dog walkers. There are partly hidden by a couple of things but mainly the undulations on the Westwood. This is an original watercolour which I am selling via my online store at a discounted price, First come first serve so to say. Also at my online store can be found my 2026 calendar.
