Here is a watercolour sketch looking towards a hidden North Bar featuring Bar House. The Catholic Church can just be seen, Peel’s Vets are through the archway. I remember seeing horses being treated in the yard at a time when the Trod was still ploughed for race horses to canter while being watched through binoculars by trainers.
