Request - horse painting project.

Forgive this quick doodle, it is not accurate I know. I Have an idea for a winter painting project, it might go on into the spring and summer. I would like to paint horses, ponies and wonder if people can assist me by letting me visit their stables. This is an academic painting exercise which I would like to try. I would be working in oil at the venue. That is, not using photographs. I might do sketches to assist with the painting if required.

I will be working on a variety of canvas sizes., Initially 12 x 10 and 14 x 10“ but with a possibility of much larger. This may lead to some specific horse portraits. I recall Lucian Freud painted the rear quarter of a horse, he made several trips to get it right which resulted in him getting a little ill. The painting  he produced  was a little unusual in as much as the horses head couldn’t be seen. I mentioned this because I would like to produce a body of work which includes horses from many angles not necessarily the obvious.
