Again, another one of my older sketches - this is a loose watercolour, a preamble for a later painting. Using half imperial heavy paper I did this in-situ and will have another go later this year. I like painting these local views and try to capture the scene for future reference. I had set myself a task to paint village ponds and this is one of many I have recorded.
