Black Mill, Beverley and the 16th green.

Westwood, Beverley showing Black Mill golf green in foreground. Acrylic 20 x 16" on canvas - a picture previously completed ( 2010?)
This is another older view which I am posting as the forecast is awful again, very cold with easterly winds possibly with S N O W !!!
I am pleased with this view as it was done before any turbines can be seen and the white specks on the right are actually distant cows. The buildings to the left of Black Mill are, I think, large houses over towards Norfolk Street off North Bar Without. Again a dramatic sky. The painting was done plein air using my first set up. This being a paintbox, tear off palette, lightweight easel and a carrying canvas holder. Quite a lot to carry really but possible. Canvas loder can be seen here.
Happy Painting
