A Pair of early acrylic views of Black Mill

Black Mill and the Minster acrylic on canvas 20 x 16"
I just love this pasture, "The Westwood" on the edge of Beverley.
This is an early acrylic plein air painting ( 2010 ? )  and was one of a series I did featuring the old mill tower. I like the big skies we get here.

Another early acrylic plein air featuring Black Mill.
......and here is another view from near the golf clubhouse side ( near the 17th tee ).
This was early evening and the sun was just beginning to colour the sky. Also at this time we see NO turbines. Many of the local views are being altered as more and more turbines are erected around Beverley and East Yorkshire.  I was pleased to capture the small cluster of bushes with this view.

Happy painting
