South of Bishop Burton near Beverley, East Yorkshire

Looking south from near Bishop Burton with huge sky - plein air oil on board 12 x 10"

Looking south - I have wanted to try and capture the huge sky typical of East Yorkshire and saw this view. The view at first seemed plain and lacking in interest however when one "looks" at the view details tend to emerge. This was done quickly without too much detail being added and I think it works. Lovely NOT to see any wind generators .....yet. This is a spot I think I will repeat a lot over the seasons'.
