Today we got a lot of jobs done, walked the girls, went shopping and.. later in the early evening popped up to the Westwood again and worked on the picture I had started earlier. Just about completed it - the sky constantly changing, grey clearing to cloudless at lower levels. Quite a few walkers with their dogs this evening. Some rooks suddenly appeared and I quickly added these to the picture.
The memory I mostly have is the large number of ladybirds.
They would appear on the canvas and when I went to my paintbox I also saw them inspecting the inside. Has to be careful not to harm any of them.
