Sweet William and some stocks with tulips.

Well here we are again, last weekend of my solo exhibition.
We bought some more flowers for display and I thought again " why not draw some of them".
These little studies, both done with a fountain pen are scanned and then rendered. I am enjoying doing them as I sit waiting for gallery visitors.

Our "Swift" nest box on the side of the house has now seen the lodgers fly off, they were some Parus Major and so now I am playing my "swift" music, made of calls for swifts to explore the nest boxes. It might just be in time, though it is a very tight timetable for them to nest, fledge and fly off back to Africa.
