St. Mary's, Etton Church, pen and ink, 16th February 2016.

Here is a pen and ink version of the oil painting I did earlier. What I like about this view is the inclusion of St.Mary's Church, South Dalton, ( well the spire of St.Mary's ) as well as the main view of St. Mary's, Etton. The trees are all bare at the moment which, as a pen and ink drawing, makes it good to do. As I have mentioned previously the weather was very cold, yet sunny and interesting shadows were being created in the foreground. The field to my right, not shown here, still contained very healthy looking sheep which were feeding from the circular metal clamp.
