Beverley Minster from Willow Lane

Beverley Minster from Willow Lane unfinished watercolour sketch.
This is a view we often see when walking along Willow Lane, near Long Lane. We are still missing Lucie who enjoyed this short walk. I wanted to try and capture the Minster rising from the scrubland .. and to include the large tree, an ash tree, before imminent building work threatens to remove it.There is just a hint of colour hanging on to some of the trees and bushes before winter finally removes it. Storms and high winds are forecast over the next few days so I was anxious to do this sketch. It is not complete but I can easily finish it either at home or, if the weather relents, at the site.
